Foles was demolished in the open field by Washington defensive lineman Chris Baker, leading to an on-field scuffle between Baker and Eagles offensive tackle Jason Peters. Baker and Peters were both ejected. Pro Football Talk reports that neither player will be suspended for the incident, but that "a ton of fines" will be handed out to the players involved in the fracas.

Foles managed to stay in the game despite remaining on the ground for several minutes after the initial hit.

The Eagles rallied to top the Redskins in the game, moving to 3-0 and becoming the first team to reach that mark after trailing by 10-plus points in each game.
