According to the report, Te'o is expected to be out for "multiple weeks."

Te'o was injured in the team’s 22-10 road win against the Buffalo Bills and was seen wearing a protective boot on Monday. The San Diego defense has allowed 16 points per contest through the first three games.
He missed the first three games last season with a sprained right foot and had surgery on the foot after the season.
Te'o leads the team with 19 total tackles this season, including 10 against Buffalo.
