Lovie Smith says Bucs proceeding as if OC Jeff Tedford won't return
Buccaneers head coach Lovie Smith says the team does not count on having offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford return this season.
"We're going on as if Jeff [Tedford] won't be back with us the rest of the year," Smith said, according to Jenna Laine of FOX Sports 1.

Tedford took a leave of absence after undergoing heart surgery. He was hired by the Bucs prior to this season after an 11-year stint as the head coach at the University of California-Berkeley. He was fired by Cal in 2012.

Marcus Arroyo, the Bucs' quarterbacks coach, served under Tedford at Cal and has been handling the team's offensive gameplanning.
Tampa Bay is 0-3 and has the fourth-lowest scoring offense in the NFL.
