Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson missed his second straight day of practice with an ankle injury, according to reports.
It is not clear whether Johnson will play in Sunday's game against the New York Jets.
"Anytime that someone doesn't practice, and in particular when it's not just a day of rest, which we would indicate on the medical report, there's always some concern (he won't play)," coach Jim Caldwell said when asked about Johnson before practice.
Johnson, who injured his ankle late in last Sunday's win against the Green Bay Packers, said earlier this week that he expects to play on Sunday.
Johnson, 28, leads the Lions with 19 catches for 329 yards this season.
