Raiders' Derek Carr sustains knee/ankle injury vs. Dolphins
Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr left Sunday's game against the Dolphins after sustaining a knee and ankle injury in the third quarter.
Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr left after sustaining an apparent knee and ankle injury in the third quarter against the Dolphins on Sunday. Carr was replaced by backup QB Matt McGloin.
The rookie quarterback led his team to an opening-drive touchdown at Wembley Stadium in London, but Oakland allowed Miami to get the next six scores, ultimately losing 38-14.
In August, Carr sustained a concussion during a preseason game against the Detroit Lions.
Carr was selected by Oakland in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft. In three games with the Raiders, Carr has completed 68 passes for 588 yards and three touchdowns.
