Week 5: Broncos, 41, Cardinals 20

Peyton Manning threw for a career-high 479 yards on 31 of 47 passing with four touchdowns. He threw his 500th career touchdown, joining Brett Favre as the only players to reach that milestone. Denver outgained Arizona 568 to 215, and backup RB Ronnie Hillman rushed for 64 yards on 15 carries.

Week 3: Seahawks 26, Broncos 20

Denver lost the Super Bowl rematch against Seattle in overtime. Peyton Manning led the Broncos 80 yards in 35 seconds with no timeouts to tie the game late in the fourth, but the Seahawks won the coin toss and scored a touchdown on the first drive of overtime. Manning said after the game that the overtime rules "put a premium on the coin toss."

Week 2: Broncos 24, Chiefs 17

The Broncos withstood a fourth-quarter comeback attempt from Alex Smith and the Chiefs. Smith's pass to Dwayne Bowe on fourth-and-goal from the Denver two-yard-line with 18 seconds left was incomplete, and the Broncos won by a touchdown. Manning completed 21 of 26 passes for 242 yards and three touchdowns. Kansas City running back Jamaal Charles left the game after only two carries with a sprained ankle.

Week 1: Broncos 31, Colts 24

Denver topped the Colts on Sunday Night Football in Week 1. Denver's balanced offensive attack (32 run plays, 36 pass plays) gained 361 yards. Indianapolis gained 408 yards of total offense but turned the ball over twice. Manning threw three touchdowns against his former team, all to tight end Julius ThomasAndrew Luck's fourth quarter comeback attempt stalled near midfield.

Week 5: Chargers 31, Jets 0 

New York deployed both Geno Smith and Michael Vick at the quarterback position, but as a team, the Jets managed to produce only 151 total yards. The duo of Smith and Vick combined to complete only 12 of 31 passes for 74 yards, and the New York defense allowed 439 total yards to the San Diego offense.

Week 4:Lions 24, Jets 17

The Detroit Lions raced to a 17-3 halftime lead over New York, and held on down the stretch for a 7-point win. New York running backs Chris Ivory and Chris Johnson combined for 128 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries, but the Jets defense allowed 272 passing yards to Matthew Stafford and the Lions.

Week 3: Bears 27, Jets 19

The Jets had three turnovers, including two interceptions thrown by Geno Smith, who completed 26 of 43 passes for 316 yards and a touchdown. He was also sacked three times. Jeremy Kerley had 81 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Week 2: Packers 31, Jets 24

The Jets were outscored 28-3 in the second half and blew an 18-point lead. Offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg called a timeout that negated Geno Smith's game-tying touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. Eric Decker had four catches for 63 yards and a touchdown.

Week 1: Jets 19, Raiders 14

Chris Ivory had a 71-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter and finished with 102 rushing yards. New York won despite having 11 penalties for 105 yards. The Jets limited the Raiders to 25 rushing yards on 15 carries.
