Ravens QB Flacco sets NFL record with five TDs in first 16:03 of game

In Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco threw five touchdowns in the first 16 minutes and 3 seconds of the game, which is the fastest in the NFL since the 1970 merger, according to the NFL.

Entering Sunday, Flacco had a passer rating of 87.8, and had completed 62.3 percent of his passes for 1,290 yards and seven touchdowns. He has thrown three interceptions this season.

At halftime, the Ravens led 38-0, eventually winning 48-17. Flacco finished the day 21-of-29 for 306 yards and the five touchdowns. 

Before Sunday, Flacco had never thrown five touchdowns in an NFL game.

With the win, the Ravens moved to 4-2 on the season while Tampa Bay dropped to 1-5.
