Lions' Calvin Johnson, Reggie Bush out vs. Vikings
Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson and running back Reggie Bush are both inactive for Sunday's game versus the Minnesota Vikings, the NFL announced.
Johnson has been dealing with a high ankle sprain originally sustained during Week 3. He re-aggravated the injury last Sunday, and Lions head coach Jim Caldwell said Monday that he was "strongly" considering sitting Johnson against the Vikings. On Wednesday, the receiver said he hoped to play Sunday.

Bush did not practice this week after spraining his ankle last Sunday in Detroit's loss to the Bills. On Friday, he said he was still hoping to play against Minnesota and was listed as questionable.
With Bush out, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that RB Theo Riddick could see more time.
Johnson had just three total catches for 19 yards the past two weeks against the Jets and Bills. On Tuesday, a report by Rapoport said he has been frustrated with his decoy role in those games, something that Johnson denied later in the week.
The Lions are 3-2 heading into Sunday's game in Minnesota.
