Geno Smith: Patriots game a chance for Jets to 'right the ship'
The New York Jets upcoming game against the New England Patriots is a chance for the team "right the ship," Geno Smith told ESPN New York's Jane McManus.
Smith's comments reference a team reeling in the wake of five consecutive losses, the longest such streak of the Rex Ryan era.

Smith completed 23 of 43 passes for 190 yards in the Jets 31-17 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. So far this season, he has thrown six touchdowns and seven interceptions in six games.
Ryan defended Smith Monday as a "great pick" by general manager John Idzik, the same day Ryan agreed he was at the low point of his career.
The Jets' game against New England is in Foxboro, Mass., Thursday night.
