On Sunday, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman dismissed reports of racial tension in the Seahawks' locker room.
Last week, Bleacher Report's Mike Freeman wrotethat some of Wilson's teammates did not feel Wilson was "black enough." His comments were backed up by discussions with Seahawks players, he said.
After Sunday's 13-9 victory over the Carolina Panthers, Sherman told reporters that the story was false.
"Nobody in here said that," Sherman said. "It's made up."
Wilson was also asked about the story.
On Thursday, former Giants running back Tiki Barber said the locker room talk was misrepresented and taken out of context by the media and the public.
After Sunday's win, Seahawks are currently tied for second in the NFC West with the San Francisco 49ers. The Arizona Cardinals are in first place. Seattle plays the Oakland Raiders (0-7) on Nov. 2.
