Pittsburgh is a consensus six-point road favorite seeking its fourth win in five games. After losing 20-13 to the Jets last Sunday as 4.5-point favorites, the Steelers will look to reverse their fortunes on the road. Before that setback, they had won three straight games -- all at home -- and covered the spread in each of them. The over has prevailed in three of the Steelers' past four games, with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger throwing 15 touchdown passes with just two picks during that stretch.

The Titans have failed to cover in their last two games following a 21-7 road loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10, after the closing lines had them as 10.5-point road underdog. Tennessee has turned to rookie quarterback Zach Mettenberger to lead the offense lately, but he has not been their main problem. Mettenberger has thrown three touchdown passes and two interceptions in two games as the starter, and the offense has totaled only 23 points. However, the Tennessee defense has surrendered 51 points over that period after giving up a total of 33 in the previous two games. The under is 3-1 in the last four games for the Titans.

Despite the Titans' struggles to score, total bettors may see a high-scoring game based on Tennessee’s betting trends. The over is 9-2 in the past 11 games in which the Titans were home underdogs. In addition, five of the last six Pittsburgh-Tennessee matchups at LP Field have gone over the total.

The Steelers have also struggled there historically, losing in eight of their past 10 visits to Nashville. The Titans have performed poorly as a home underdog though, losing six games in a row in that situation and going 0-5-1 against the spread.
