Report: Colts to sign wide receiver Josh Cribbs
The Indianapolis Colts will reportedly sign free-agent wide receiver Josh Cribbs on Tuesday after bringing him in for a workout last week.
According to Mike Wells of ESPN.com, the Colts will add the former All-Pro return specialist, presumably to boost their punt return game, which ranks near the bottom of the NFL.
Cribbs, 31, last played in 2013 with the New York Jets appearing in six games, where he averaged 24.5 yards per kickoff return and 12 yards per punt return. He spent his first eight seasons with the Cleveland Browns, making three Pro Bowls.

Cribbs is tied for the all-time NFL record for kickoff return touchdowns with eight, sharing the mark with Leon Washington.
His 11.1 yard per return on punt returns ranks 19th in NFL history.
Griff Whalen has been handling the returns duties for the Colts this season, averaging 25.3 yards per kick return but has also fumbled twice.
