Report: Bengals' Andre Smith will have season-ending arm surgery
Bengals right tackle Andre Smith has an arm injury that will require season-ending surgery, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Rapoport reports the injury is a tear of the triceps or biceps.
Smith had started nine of Cincinnati's 11 games this season. He missed the Bengals' Week 10 and Week 11 games with an ankle injury. Over the past three seasons, Smith started all but three of Cincinnati's games.
Smith was the sixth pick in the 2009 draft.

Tanner Hawkinson is listed on the Bengals' depth chart as Smith's backup at right tackle, but second-string left tackle Marshall Newhouse started on the right side in Weeks 10 and 11.
The Bengals currently lead the AFC North with a 7-3-1 record and play the Buccaneers on Sunday.
