Report: Titans interested in QB Jay Cutler
The Tennessee Titans are interested in Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, reports NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
According to Rapoport, the Titans are already "doing their homework" on Cutler and could emerge as candidates should the Bears decide to trade the quarterback.
While Cutler would prefer to stay in Chicago, if he were traded, his preferred destination is Nashville, reports Rapoport. Cutler attended college at Vanderbilt in Tennessee.
• EAGLE: By benching Cutler, Bears make statement about future
Cutler was benched by the Bears on Wednesday in favor of Jimmy Clausen. Cutler leads the NFL with 18 interceptions this season.
In January, the Bears reached a seven-year contract extension with Cutler, who is owed a guaranteed $15.5 million next season. Rapoport recently said that Chicago has "serious" buyer's remorse with that deal.
The Bears (5-9) host the Detroit Lions (10-4) on Sunday.
