Report: Jets to interview Texans' Mike Maccagnan for second time
The New York Jets will interview Houston Texans director of college scouting Mike Maccagnan for a second time for the team's vacant general manager position, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Maccagnan interviewed with Jets owner Woody Johnson and consultants Charley Casserly and Ron Wolf on Monday. He is the first candidate to receive a second interview, according to Schefter.
Maccagnan has been Houston's director of college scouting since 2011 and has been with the organization since 2000. He was also a scout for the Washington Redskins for six seasons before joining the Texans.

The Jets are looking to hire a coach and general manager after firing Rex Ryan and John Idzik following a 4-12 season.
Minnesota Vikings assistant general manager George Paton reportedly turned down an interview with the Jets, opting to stay with the Vikings.

New York has reportedly interviewed Seattle Seahawksdefensive coordinator Dan Quinn, and Johnson said the team is interested in former Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone.
The Jets have the No. 6 pick in the 2015 draft.
