Bengals DT Geno Atkins replaces Ndamukong Suh on Pro Bowl roster
Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins will replace Detroit Lions All-Pro Ndamukong Suh in the Pro Bowl, the Bengals announced.
Suh will not participate because he is injured. The game will be Jan. 25 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., a week before Super Bowl XLIX.
Atkins had 34 total tackles and three sacks in 16 games in 2014 and will be making his third Pro Bowl appearance.

Bengals defensive coordinator Paul Guenther wasn't too pleased with Atkins’ performance this season, saying “he was just a guy out there. We need to get him back where he was a game wrecker inside.”
Atkins missed the last two months of the 2013 season after tearing the ACL in his right knee.
Atkins, 26, signed a five-year, $53.3 million contract in 2013 and is scheduled to make $5.7 million in base salary next season.
