Seahawks QB Russell Wilson: 'I think God cares about football'
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilsontold reporters at Super Bowl Media day that he thinks God cares about football.
After the Seahawks came back from a 16-0 deficit to defeat the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game, Wilson credited God for the win to The MMQB's Peter King.
He reiterated his belief on Tuesday.
"I think God cares about football. I think God cares about everything he created," Wilson said at Media Day.
Last week, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was asked on his thoughts on whether God plays a role in the result of games, to which he said he doesn't think God "is a big football fan" or cares about the outcome.
