Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested for possession of marijuana on Tuesday, police told SI.com.

The incident occurred in Wichita, Kan., where Randle is from. Responding to a report of a disturbance with a weapon, police said they went a the hotel where Randle and a 22-year-old woman were staying. No arrests were made on the disturbance call, but the officers found the marijuana and arrested Randle with one count of possession. The arrest was first reported by KWCH 12.

Randle's agent, Erik Burkhardt, tweeted that Randle was not arrested, but police said that although Randle was not brought to jail, he was issued a citation, which is considered an arrest in Wichita. Police also said Randle was not cited for any domestic violence charges, but they will be looking into the matter.

Randle played in all 16 games for the Cowboys in 2014, rushing for 343 yards and three touchdowns. He's the backup to offensive player of the year DeMarco Murray, who is currently a free agent.

Last October, Randle was arrested and fined for shoplifting underwear and cologne from a Dallas-area mall, which led to this meme.
