Report: Chiefs to cut Dwayne Bowe if no trade partner found
The Kansas City Chiefs are expected to release wide receiver Dwayne Bowe if they can’t trade him, reports NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.
Bowe is set to make $11 million in 2015, part of a five-year, $56 million contract he signed two years ago.
Bowe, 30, is coming off a 2014 season in which he caught 60 passes for 754 yards and no touchdowns.
Of Kansas City’s 18 receiving touchdowns last season, none came from a wide receiver. Bowe was the last Kansas City wide receiver to catch a touchdown pass, which occurred in December 2013
