Report: Ex-Seahawks LB Malcolm Smith signs with Raiders
The Oakland Raiders have signed former Seattle Seahawks linebacker Malcolm Smith, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Smith recorded 132 tackles, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two interceptions and one touchdown in four career seasons, each with the Seahawks. However, he only started five of the 14 games in which he appeared last season.
In eight career playoff games, Smith has 30 tackles, one fumble recovery and two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown. The 25-year-old linebacker was named MVP of Super Bowl XLVIII.

Last week, Oakland released middle linebacker Nick Roach and safety Usama Young.
The Raiders finished last season 3-13, ranking No. 32 in points allowed and No. 21 in yards allowed.
