Former Buffalo Bills tight end Scott Chandler has agreed to a contract with the New England Patriots, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Chandler, 29, was released by the Bills on Wednesday after four seasons with the team. He had 47 receptions for 497 yards and three touchdowns in 16 games last season.
Chandler had been deciding between the Patriots and Baltimore Ravens, NBC Washington's Dianna Marie Russini reports.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski led the Patriots with 1,124 receiving yards last season. He was backed up by Michael Hoomanawanui, who had just three receptions.
