Cowboys, defensive end Greg Hardy agree to deal
The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a deal with defensive end Greg Hardy, the team announced Wednesday.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports it is a one-year contract worth up to $13.1 million.
Last Friday, Hardy's agent told ESPN that Hardy has drawn interest from several teams and had begun negotiations with one of them.

Hardy was free to sign with any team even though he is on the commissioner's exempt list. The 26-year-old was found guilty last July on misdemeanor domestic violence charges. He was set to stand trial in February after appealing the conviction, but the charges were dismissed after his accuser reportedly could not be located by prosecutors.
The Carolina Panthersplaced Hardy on the list after he played one game last season. Hardy had received the franchise tag in February 2014 and made $13.1 million in 2014.
Hardy reportedly reached a financial settlement with the accuser. He is now seeking immediate reinstatement to the league and met with NFL officials in New York last month.
In 2013, Hardy recorded 65 tackles and 15 sacks and was invited to the Pro Bowl.
