Report: Bears to release center Roberto Garza
The Chicago Bears will reportedly release longtime center Roberto Garza.

The Chicago Bears will release longtime center Roberto Garza, reports Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.
Biggs reports that the Bears plan to sign veteran center Will Montgomery to replace Garza.

Garza, 36, has spent the last 10 seasons in Chicago and is a 14-year NFL veteran. He started 145 for the Bears and had signed a one-year extension in December 2014.

Montgomery spent last season with the Denver Broncos, starting eight games and appearing in all 16. He was previously a center for the Washington Redskins for five years.
