The Indianapolis Colts head into the 2015 NFL draft in Chicago this week with nine selections, including the 29th pick in the first round.

The Colts have an extra pick in the sixth round that they acquired from the Seattle Seahawks last August in a trade for cornerback Marcus Burley. The Colts also added a seventh-round pick from the Dallas Cowboys in a trade for defensive end Caesar Rayford in September 2013, but dealt their own seventh rounder to the San Francisco 49ersin exchange for linebacker Cam Johnson in September 2013.

Indianapolis also has an extra seventh-round selection as a compensatory pick.

The Colts were busy in free agency, bringing in guard Todd Herremans and linebacker Trent Cole from the Philadelphia Eagles, running back Frank Gore from the 49ers, defensive end Kendall Langford from the St. Louis Rams, linebacker Nate Irving from the Denver Broncos, wide receiver Vincent Brown from the Oakland Raiders and safety Dwight Lowery from the Atlanta Falcons.

They also added former Houston Texans All-Pro Andre Johnson and Canadian Football League standout Duron Carter to their wide receiver corps.

The Colts have needs at safety, on the defensive line and at running back.
