With the NFL draft's second and third round hours away, the rumor mill is abuzz. We're updating this post with all of the latest NFL draft rumors and news, so be sure to check back often.

The Buccaneers, who will have the second pick in the second round, selected Jameis Winston with the No. 1 overall pick. The Tennessee Titans drafted Oregon quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota with the No. 2 pick and will select first in the second round.

The draft continues Friday with the second and third rounds, starting at 7 p.m. ET. The last four rounds will be on Saturday.

Latest news and rumors

• ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that the Titans and Browns were high on Jaelen Strong during the draft process and are ones to watch with regards to Strong in the second round.

• The Buccaneers plan to target OT Jake Fisher or OT T.J. Clemmings with the No. 34 pick, reports Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.

• The Titans reportedly told the Eagles that they would have to exceed to the Robert Griffin III deal in 2012 to draft Marcus Mariota. The Redskins gave three first-round picks and a second round pick to the St. Louis Rams for the right to draft Griffin.

• ESPN's Adam Caplan reports that St. Louis Rams running back Zac Stacy plans to ask the team to release him or trade him after the Rams chose Todd Gurley with the No. 10 pick in the draft.

• Carolina Panthers general manager Dave Gettleman says he has no plans to deal his Day 2 picks in order to move up in the draft. The Panthers have the No. 57 and the No. 89 overall picks on Friday.
