Former Ravens cheerleader pleads guilty to rape of minor
Former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader Molly Shattuck pleaded guilty to fourth-degree rape on Thursday, according to the Baltimore Sun.
Shattuck faces up to 15 years in prison and has a tentative sentencing set for mid-August, according to the Sun.
According to the Sun, the terms of her plea agreement stipulate that she “must register as a sex offender, is forbidden from having contact with her victim, is barred from unsupervised contact with minors other than her own children, and must undergo a mental health evaluation with sexual disorder counseling.”
Shattuck, 47, was arrested and charged with rape and unlawful sexual contact with a 15-year-old boy last November.
Police said she developed a relationship with the boy in Maryland and eventually invited him to a vacation rental in Delaware over Labor Day weekend, where she bought him liquor and engaged in a sexual encounter with him.
In 2005, Shattuck became the oldest woman to be an NFL cheerleader when she was hired by the Ravens.
