Former New England Patriots cornerback Brandon Browner received his Super Bowl ring on Thursday.
The ring came with a letter from Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who also wrote a personalized note to Browner. Browner shared a photo of the ring and the note on Instagram.
“I'm truly sorry you left us—you were one of my favorites in the locker room,” the note from Kraft reads.
Browner signed with the New Orleans Saints in March after New England did not pick up a $2 million roster bonus due to him. The 30-year-old recorded 32 tackles, seven passes defended and one interception in nine games in 2014 and helped the Patriots win Super Bowl XLIX.
