Packers' Cobb, Bulaga, Hyde leave preseason game with injuries
Packers receiver Randall Cobb, offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga and cornerback Micah Hyde left the team's preseason game against the Eagles with injuries.
Cobb injured his shoulder on the team's third play of the game, landing on his right side while attempting to catch a throw from quarterback Brett Hundley. He was examined on the sidelines and taken to the locker room. The team announced Cobb had a shoulder injury, with no further update.
The Packers also announced Bulaga suffered an ankle injury in the second quarter. He reportedly appeared to be in good spirits on the bench after icing his ankle
Hyde was carted off the field in the second quarter, though it appeared unclear how he was injured. He was taken to the locker room with no further update.
The injury to Cobb could be particularly significant after No. 1 receiver Jordy Nelson was ruled out for the season with a torn ACL he suffered during a preseason game. Cobb caught 91 passes for 1,287 yards and 12 touchdowns last season and is set to become Aaron Rodgers' No. 1 target. He signed a four-year, $40 million contract in March.
