Report: Bills sign linebacker IK Enemkpali to practice squad
The Buffalo Bills reportedly signed linebacker IK Enemkpali to the practice squad Monday.
The Buffalo Bills have signed linebacker IK Enemkpali to their practice squad, reports NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
The Bills claimed Enemkpali in August, but cut him from their 53-man roster Saturday.
Enemkpali was released from the New York Jets during training camp after he punched quarterback Geno Smith in the jaw Aug. 11. Buffalo head coach Rex Ryan was the head coach of the Jets when Enemkpali was drafted.
Enemkpali played in four preseason games with the Bills. He recorded 11 tackles.
• Jets’ Smith will not press charges against Enemkpali for punch
In six games with New York last season, Enemkpali recorded three total tackles. He was a sixth-round pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
