Carolina Panther linebacker Luke Kuechly left the team's season-opening game against the Jaguars with a concussion, reports Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer.
The injury occurred late in the second quarter as Kuechly attempted to make on T.J Yeldon. Kuechly can be seen hitting Yeldon with the crown of his helmet and then immediately staggering to the ground.

Kuechly was the NFC Defensive Player of the Year in 2013 and has been named to two pro bowl teams since being drafted by the Panthers in the first round of the 2012 Draft out of Boston College.
He signed a five-year, $62 million contract on Thursday.
