Adrian Peterson gains 100 yards for first time since December 2013
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson reached 100 yards for the first time in almost two years.
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson ran for over 100 yards for the first time since Dec. 1, 2013, on Sunday.
Peterson eclipsed 100 yards during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Lions.
Peterson played in only one game in 2014, missing time due to his misdemeanor assault case. Peterson pleaded no contest for allegedly hitting his four-year-old son with a switch.
The Vikings restructured Peterson’s contract in July. He rushed for 1,266 yards in 2014. Peterson ran for only 31 yards in Minnesota’s season opener.
