Watch: Cardinals’ David Johnson returns opening kick 108 yds for TD
Watch Cardinals running back David Johnson take the opening kick 108 yards to the house.
Cardinals rookie running back David Johnson was scheduled to see an increased look with Andre Ellington on the shelf.
He wasted no time.
Johnson took the game’s opening kickoff from the Bears’ Robbie Gould eight yards deep in his own end zone, and brought it the length of the field to put Arizona on top of Chicago 6–0 before the extra point.
Johnson now has three touches in his career, with one catch and two kick returns. He’s scored on two of them.
Wideout Alshon Jeffery is sitting out this game for the Bears due to a hamstring issue.
