Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was taken to the locker room late in the second quarter of Sunday’s game after sustaining a hamstring injury.
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was taken to the locker room late in the second quarter of Sunday’s game after sustaining a hamstring injury and will not return, the team announced.
Cutler was intercepted by Cardinals defensive back Tony Jefferson, and fell awkwardly trying to tackle Jefferson.
Jefferson returned the pick for a touchdown to put Arizona up 28–14 after the extra point.
Six-year veteran Jimmy Clausen entered at quarterback for Chicago on the following drive.
Cutler was 8 of 8 for 120 yards and a touchdown before throwing the pick-six.
He missed 12 games between 2011-2013 with various injuries.
