Eagles RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) leaves practice early
Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray left practice early on Wednesday with a hamstring injury, according to Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com.
In the first two games of the year, Murray has only recorded 11 yards on 21 carries. Last season with the Cowboys, Murray collected 392 regular-season carries for 1,845 yards. He added in another 416 yards off 57 receptions. His 13 touchdowns also added to his resume en route to Offensive Player of the Year honors.
Murray inked a five year deal worth approximately $42 million in the offseason.
The Eagles are set to face the Jets on Sunday. If Murray is expected to miss time, Ryan Matthews and Darren Sproles would likely see more playing time.
