Vikings running back Adrian Peterson scored his first rushing touchdown since Nov. 24, 2013 on Sunday.
Peterson took a handoff from quarterback Teddy Bridgewater up the middle for a two-yard score to give the Vikings a 10–0 lead with just over nine minutes remaining in the second quarter.
Peterson missed all but one game last season after he was suspended following an indictment for child abuse.
He finished the first half with 13 carries for 50 yards and a score.
