Packers receiver Davante Adams injured his ankle in the first quarter of Monday night’s game against the Chiefs.
Packers receiver Davante Adams re-injured his ankle in the first quarter of Monday night’s win against the Chiefs and did not return.
Adams hurt the ankle last week against the Seahawks but was able to return to the game in the second half. He missed some time in practice last week but upgraded to probable before Monday night’s game.
Adams was targeted on two passes Monday before he was injured, both on Green Bay’s opening series.
After Jordy Nelson was lost for the year with a torn ACL, Adams was promoted to the team’s No. 2 receiver behind Randall Cobb. He has nine catches for 92 yards this season.
