Giants WR Victor Cruz (calf) out against Bills in Week 4
New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin says wide receiver Victor Cruz is out with a left calf injury and will not play against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
There is no timetable for his return.
On Wednesday, Cruz participated in practice on a limited basis for the first time since Aug. 17, but was forced to cut his practice short after his lingering calf injury began acting up.
The wideout was confident that he would be ready to play on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, but he may not be ready to return just yet. Cruz has not played in a regular season game since Oct. 12 of last season after tearing his patellar tendon.
The Giants are 1–2 after beating the Redskins last Thursday.
