Marshawn Lynch, Brandon Mebane out for Seattle Seahawks in Week 4
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and defensive lineman Brandon Mebane will miss Monday night’s game against the Detroit Lions, reports the Associated Press’s Tim Booth.
Lynch has been battling a hamstring injury and was listed as questionable after practice Saturday. Mebane is battling a groin injury sustained in Week 3.
Lynch will be missing only his second game as a member of the Seahawks. He has played in 61 straight regular season games. Saturday, coach Pete Carroll confirmed an MRI revealed damage in Lynch’s hamstring.
Lynch has 38 carries for 128 yards in three games in 2015. Mebane has started every game this season for the Seahawks along their defensive line. He has six combined tackles.
