Tom Brady responds to Greg Hardy’s comments about him and his wife
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady addressed Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy’s comments about him and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, at his press conference Wednesday.
“I love seeing Tom Brady. He’s cool as crap,” Hardy said Tuesday, according to the Dallas Morning News. “You seen his wife? I hope she comes to the game. I hope her sister comes to the game. [I hope] all her friends come to the game.”
Hardy has just finished serving a four-game suspension for domestic violence allegations and will be eligible to play in his first game of the season on Sunday, against New England.
In response to Hardy's comments, Brady said Wednesday that he is “just getting ready to play.”
“I don't really care about his personal feelings,” Brady added, according to the team’s website.
Hardy, whose suspension stemmed from a domestic violence incident in which he was alleged to have thrown his then-girlfriend onto a futon covered in firearms, also made an unfortunate weapons reference to reporters.
“I hope I come out guns blazing,” Hardy said, according to the team’s website. “I’m full of excitement and full of juice.”
The Patriots (3–0) will play the Cowboys (2–2) on the road on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
