Report: Seahawks LB Bobby Wagner (pectoral strain) out indefinitely
Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner could reportedly miss some time due to a strained pectoral muscle.
According to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times, Wagner could miss, at worst, a couple weeks, but could also play this week against the Carolina Panthers.
The 25-year-old left Sunday’s 27–24 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals briefly due to the injury, but returned to the field to finish the game.
Wagner, who signed a four-year extension with the Seahawks in August, has recorded 41 combined tackles, 0.5 sacks and one touchdown through five games this season.
• BANKS: Have Seahawks lost some defensive swagger?
A second-round selection in the 2012 draft out of Utah State, Wagner made his first Pro Bowl and All-Pro teams last season, and helped Seattle to a victory in Super Bowl XLVIII.
The Seahawks (2–3) will host the Panthers (4–0) at CenturyLink Field on Sunday.
