The New Orleans Saints (1–4) will host the Atlanta Falcons (5–0) at the Superdome on Thursday.

The Saints are reeling after another tough defeat last week, losing badly to the Philadelphia Eagles, 39–17. Quarterback Drew Brees finished the game 26 for 43 passing with 335 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Running back Mark Ingram carried the ball 12 times for 57 yards. The team rushed for a total of 96 yards, failing to reach the 100-yard mark for the third time this season.

The Falcons come into the game as one of two remaining undefeated teams in the NFC, along with the Green Bay Packers. Last week, Atlanta was able to sneak out a 25–19 overtime win over the Washington Redskins. Running back Devonta Freeman was unstoppable, rushing 27 times for 153 yards and a touchdown. The Falcons were able to overcome a poor game from quarterback Matt Ryan, who was 24 for 42 with 254 yards and two interceptions.
