Seattle Seahawks running back Fred Jackson is uninjured after crashing his car into a roadside pole, according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Jackson pulled out of the team facility a bit too quickly and misjudged a turn. He was not racing his car before the accident.

“There is no evidence he was drag racing anyone,” Renton police spokesman David Liebman told the Times. “He was leaving the facility, and he was clearly driving too fast when he hit a street sign.”

Jackson was issued a $175 ticket for inattentive driving, according to the Times.

TMZ first reported that Jackson lost control of his car during a drag race with teammate Marshawn Lynch on the way home from practice, and that at least Lynch drove away unscathed.

Jackson returned to the team’s facility after the wreck, and his car was towed away. Some of his teammates, including Richard Sherman, stopped at the scene to help Jackson out of his car.

He tweeted late Tuesday that he wasn’t racing his car at the time of the incident.

Condotta shared some images from the scene of the accident on Twitter.
