New York Giants cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was quick to celebrate his interception in Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
As Cowboys’ quarterback Matt Cassel attempted to hit Darren McFadden along the sideline, Rodgers-Cromartie read the pass perfectly coming up with an interception in the third quarter.
The cornerback had an open lane to the end zone and knew it immediately, raising his hand in the air while sprinting for the touchdown for a 58-yard return. The score gave the Giants a 17–13 lead.
Rodgers-Cromartie is the first Giants player with two defensive touchdowns in a season since Kawika Mitchell in 2007.
Rodgers-Cromartie had another interception to start off the fourth quarter.
