Watch: Punt return, penalty set Saints up for game-winning FG vs. Giants
The New Orleans Saints used a big punt return Marcus Murphy, a timely fumble recovery from Willie Snead, and a facemask penalty en route to a 52–49 win over the New York Giants on Sunday.
With 20 seconds remaining in a tie game, Marcus Murphy took a Brad Wing punt from the Saints’ 29-yard line up to the Giants’ 47 before the ball was jarred loose. Willie Snead then came up with the fumble recovery for New Orleans and was tackled by punter Brad Wing.
