San Francisco 49ers running back Reggie Bush left Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams with a knee injury. Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport bothreport the 49ers fear Bush tore his ACL.
Bush sustained the injury after returning a punt and running off the field. He slipped on concrete which runs around the stadium near the wall separating the field and the stands, and went down holding his left knee. He was carted off the field.
Backup Mike Davis replaced Bush and had 10 carries for four yards. Kendall Gaskins spelled Davis, with five carries for six yards.
The 49ers were leading the Rams 3–2 after one quarter.
The 49ers waived running back Jarryd Hayne, a converted rugby player, on Saturday.
