Watch: Rams RB Todd Gurley breaks off 71-yard TD run
St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley continues to build on his impressive rookie campaign, this time burning the San Francisco 49ers defense for a 71-yard touchdown run.
With a little more than 10 minutes on the clock in the second quarter, Gurley took a hand-off from quarterback Nick Foles and burst up a huge hole up the middle. Gurley did all the rest, simply out running the San Francisco secondary on his way to the end zone.
The score put the Rams up 10–3 after a two-point conversion.
If there are any lingering concerns over the torn ACL that Gurley suffered during his senior season at Georgia, he continues to show that he is 100 percent.
Gurley has rushed for 442 yards and two touchdowns in four games this season.
