Watch: Vikings WR Cordarrelle Patterson scores on 93-yard return
Vikings wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson scored on 93-yard kick return in Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders.
It’s usually worrisome when a kick returner struggles to pick up the ball, unless of course you are Minnesota Vikings’ wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson.
In the second quarter of the Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders, Patterson muffed a kick return at the 10-yard line, but with the help of blocking and Patterson’s speed, the wide receiver ended up scoring on 93-yard kick return. The score gave the Vikings a 20–14 lead as the team headed into halftime.
The touchdown marked Patterson’s first on a kick return this season. In 2013, his rookie year, Patterson had two kick return touchdowns and was a first-team All-Pro selection.
