Cardinals left guard Mike Iupati has been released from a Seattle hospital after he left the field in an ambulance Sunday night following a helmet-to-helmet collision with Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor, the team announced.

Iupati will travel back to Arizona with the team, the Cardinals said. The team also said that MRI and CT scans came back normal.

Iupati was injured with 9:16 left in the second quarter when he lowered his head to make a block as Chancellor was coming around the edge of the offensive line.

Iupati, 28, signed a five-year, $40 million contract with Arizona before this season. He played his first five NFL seasons with the 49ers
