Watch: Carson Palmer runs for a touchdown, then falls down
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer ran for a touchdown, then botched the celebration.
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer needs to work on his celebrations.
Palmer ran for what ended up being the winning touchdown late in the Cardinals’ game against the 49ers, scampering into the end zone from seven yards out. Palmer churned his legs as hard as he could to make the score, then tried to celebrate with a strong spike.
The rushing touchdown may have taken out Palmer’s legs however, as the spike sent him tumbling toward the ground. Next time, the quarterback may want to try something simple, like the Dab.
