Watch: Broncos beat Patriots in overtime on C.J. Anderson’s TD run
The Broncos completed a comeback win over the Patriots with C.J. Anderson’s 48-yard touchdown run in overtime.
Denver trailed 21–7 at the start of the fourth quarter but took the lead late when BrockOsweiler led a touchdown drive to put the Broncos ahead with 1:09 left to play. Tom Brady then responded by piloting the Patriots into field goal range with no timeouts and Stephen Gostkowski hit a 47-yard field goal as time expired to force overtime.
After the Broncos forced the Patriots to punt on the first series of the extra period, Anderson broke a long run down the left side of the field to win the game.

The loss was New England’s first of the season, leaving the Panthers as the NFL’s only remaining undefeated team. The Broncos are now 9–2 on the season, tied for the second-best record in the AFC. The Bengals currently hold the tiebreaker over the Broncos by virtue of having a better conference record.
